Driftwood's take on the classic Extra Special Bitter (ESB). Brewed with heaps of Mosaic hops and luxurious Golden Promise malt, this unique ESB combines some new world hop character with a traditional malt profile! Brewed to honor Hildegard Von Bingen, a 12th century Benedictine nun who allegedly was the first to record the use of hops as an ingredient in brewing beer. While this is open to some debate, we like Hildegard’s style and cant imagine beer without hops! This Extra Special Bitter has lots of hops! Hildegard would be proud.
