This single barrel Bourbon is named for Colonel Edmund Haynes Talor Jr., considered one of the founding fathers of the Bourbon industry. He purchased what is no known as the Buffalo Trace distillery and pushed hard for the Bottled in Bond Act of 1897. Each hand picked barrel is bottled a 50% from casks matured only in Warehouse C, which was built by Taylor in 1881.
Distiller's Tasting Note: "The aroma carries lightly toasted oak, with dried figs and butterscotch. One sip brings flavors of sweetness balanced with tobacco and dark spices. The finish is just long enough to prepare the palette for another sip. The bottle itself is a likeness to Colonel Taylor's original design used over a century ago."
