The folks at Borgogno call this (no name Nebbiolo) a quiet protest against the bureaucracy that afflicts Italian agriculture and the wine world. We call this blend of three declassified Barolo crus an absolute bargain. Look for perfume of dusty red cherries, sweet spices and crushed flowers. Good depth and poise. Tannins are firm with good overall balance. It is a good idea to decant as decanting softens the tannins considerably. At this price, it is highly recommended.
