Port is typically a blend of five grapes but the star of the show is Portugal's very own indigenous grape, Touriga Nacional. The Duoro is one of the last places in the world where they still crush the grapes at harvest by stomping on them! And why fool with tradition when such excellent fortified wines are made. The 1997 is a high quality vintage, cask-aged port that is timeless. Delicious.
