Cooley Distillery is owned by the Kilbeggan Distillery Company which in turn is owned by Beam Suntory. Cooley produces what is still possibly Ireland's only peated single malt whiskey under the brand name Connemara. Kilbeggan, Greenore Single Grain Whiskey, Tyrconnell Irish Single Malt, & Connemara Peated Irish Single Malt are all made at this distillery. This is one of the only cask strength Irish whiskey, let alone Irish single malt. Sweet, dry, smoky & spicy

Connemara is a peated single malt from the Cooley Distillery. The malt is an example of what most Irish whiskies would have tasted like historically! Is double distilled and bottled at 40% ABV.
