Linkwood, long one of our great loves 'round here, is a surprisingly versatile whisky. The spirit seems to be malleable enough to handle pretty much any sort of cask, however... it seems to be more successful at certain ages for certain styles than others. For example, Linkwood seems to take well to long term aging in Sherry casks. It aslso does well in youth in ex-Bourbon. This 10-year-old probably falls somewhere right in the middle, and we can't wait to get our hands on this one. 310 bottles from an Oloroso Sherry Hogshead.
Natural colour, non-chill filtered, and bottled at 53.5% abv.
