Producer Tasting Note
Nose: Lemon drizzle cake and a big bowl of fresh fruit salad with pineapple, apple slices, kiwi and melon all sprinkled with finely grated citrus zest.
Palate: The fruity character in the nose develops to include soft, stoned fruits. The sharp, citrus tang dances on the sides of the tongue. A drop of water mellows the citrus tang down to bring many soft and gentle layers of fruit.
Finish: Long, fruity and slightly creamy on the develops finish.

This robust sixth batch of Teaniich from That Boutique-y Whisky Company weighs in at a respectable 59.1% ABV. It is a from a combination of two refill sherry buts that were finished in an ex-Bourbon Barrel. I am not sure how that math works, but regardless! Only 421 bottles were filled, with a small portion coming to Kensington Wine Market.

Distilled in 2008 and matured in a pair of Hogshead Casks, the whisky has been bottled after 13 years at 46%. Non-chillfiltered with no added colouring.
