While Saint Cosme may be known for their southern Rhone wines, this pure Syrah from their northern Rhone vineyard is excellent. Granite slopes rather than flatlands give the wine greater structure and complexity. The wine shows classic aromas and flavours of black fruits, smoked bacon, black peppercorn, and incense.
