"A follow up cask to edition 60a, this is a 1995 refill Americal oak hogshead. Aged for 26 years and bottled at natural cask strength of 51.1% with an outturn of 249 bottles. Stunningly fresh, coastal and waxy with gentle notes of citrus fruits and old style peat smoke. Just perfect!"

Nose: big and generously focused on fat waxy notes, soft, lightly medicinal peat smoke, pepper, gentle coastal notes and elegant crystalised citrus fruits with a superb freshness and balance.
Palate: the strength, weight and body are all perfect. That pulpy, waxy Springbank texture that comes alive at this kind of age really shines from the off. Then the usual flavours of soft, elegant peat smoke, hessian, medical embrocation and hints of green and citrus fruits.
Finish: really long, warming and full of waxy, peppery peaty notes, citrons, camphor and fresh coastal air.
