Coming from a incredible and wild farm near Yumbel in the Bio Bio Valley from vines with more than a 100 years old, this wines displays a lot of character with fresh fruit and wild herbs on the nose. On the palate it offers a great texture that is expressive of the terroir. The vineyard is laregly volcanic soils and the wine spends 4 months in oak prior to bottling.There is no fining, filtering or stabalization and fermentation occurs via natural yeasts. Pais is an ancient grape that has played a prominent role in the Chilean wine industry. Up until the turn of the 21st century, it was Chile's most planted variety until it was overtaken by Cabernet Sauvignon
