Producer Description
"Our ninth batch from the long closed Cambus grain distillery is a 28 Year Old, a release of just 443 bottles at 50.9% abv. The Cambus distillery was founded in 1806, the site originally occupied by a mill. The distillery first gained some significance in 1836 when a patent still was installed and began to distill grain whisky."
About the Label
"Our label looks across the Cambus Iron Bridge to a huge stock of casks, all under a blanket of snow. The early 19th-century cast iron arch bridge crosses over the River Devon into the distillery site. The closed distillery initially became a cask filling site, but was given a new life in 2011 when it became Diageo’s new cooperage."

Nose: Sticky toffee pudding and crunchy brandy snaps with a touch of hazelnut too.
Palate: Complex flavours with gingerbread, sweet vanilla cream, brandy snaps, a touch of pepper.
Finish: More ginger, salted caramel and a prickle of pepper at the end.
That Boutique-y Whisky Company (TBWC) is part of the Atom Group, which also owns the UK retailer Master of Malt and a number of other subsidiaries. They are a dynamic and innovative firm, who by example invented the Whisky Advent Calendar concept. Established in 2012, TBWC is famous for its playful and colourful labels, which often feature prominent whisky industry figures, tell a story, and or elude to an inside joke. The labels are typically laced with hidden elements and "Easter Eggs."
TBWC bottles whiskies from around the world, though the bulk of their offerings are of Scottish origin. Most of their offerings are small-batch releases, Blended Malts, and Blends. Their "Head of Whisky" is Canadian Sam Simmons.
