Lambrusco has come a long way since the days of Riunite on ice (some of you may recall that ad campaign). In fact, it's a delicious sparkling red wine that serves as a partner to casual fare, heralding from the Italian region of Emilia-Romagna. There's a little sweetness on most styles, including this one, just enough to make it ideal with things like pizza, paninis, or a burger with caramelized onions. The grape has about 10 known sub-varieties, this one is a blend of 85% Salamino and 15% Malbo.

Lini winery was founded in 1910, by Oreste in Correggio, in the heart of Emilia. More than 100 years of history that have seen every change in the world of wine, in particular Lambrusco. The Lini winery has always distinguished itself with its range of Lambrusco and has put in years of hard work, research and oenological trials to develop the use of the Classic Method (as used in the production in Champagne) for Lambrusco. It was in 2015 Lini was nominated as one of Opera Wine's 100 Greatest Producers by Wine Spectator. It's a blend of grapes made from 85% lambrusco salamino and 15% ancellotta using the charmat method.
