Cooper's Choice North British 1992 29 Yr

The more savvy whisky folks out there have quietly been buying up a lot of sexy old Single Grain whisky. Rightfully so. It's incredible how high those age statements can be when you shift focus from Malt Whisky to Grain Whisky. The rather oddly named North British distillery bangs out about 65 million litres of spirit a year, but only a wee portion of that ends up bottled as Single Grain. In the case of this Cooper's Choice release, twenty-nine years in ex-Bourbon cask #67628 left but 390 bottles at 44.5%.
