Domaine Nico is named after Laura’s daughter, Nicola, which pays homage to Laura’s great-grandfather, Nicola Catena, founder of Catena Zapata winery in 1902. Domaine Nico was born from Laura's obsession with Burgundy Pinot Noir. When she realized they could make a Pinot Noir with the classic floral aromas, minerality and elegance, they began studying the flavours of high altitude Pinot Noir from Mendoza.
