This 21 year old Glenburgie was distilled in 2000 and matured in a Refill Hogshead cask before bottling at 50%.
Note that this was distilled at Glenburgie distillery, not the legendary and mythical Glernburgie Distillery that we previously fabricated by means of a typo. Like the fabled Macallum, Ardberg, and Aberdelfy before it, the Glernburgie distillery has been mothballed, demolished, and spell-corrected.

Nose: cherries, apples and toffee.
Palate: chocolate, liquorice, and pepper notes.
Finish: long, with lingering spice.

Probably Highland Park, but there is chance it could be Scapa. The distillery closed for refurbishments in 2005, but when did it reopen? The tasting note sounds like Highland Park, but there is no mention of smoke? The plot thickens! Distilled in 2006, matured in a Refill Hogshead and bottled at 50%.
