Bottled under the Brittish Dragonflies series, this 25 year old "Blended Malt" was distilled in 1996, matured in a Hogshead and bottled in 2021 at 54.7%. Burnside is usually a euphemism for teaspooned Balvenie. So Balvenie with a dash of Glenfiddich perhaps? The label features a Uropetala Carovei "drawn by G.V. Hudson and published over 100 years ago in "An elementary manuel of New Zealand entomology." 89.59pts Whisky Base.
