Strongly influenced by her work under master Burgundian producer Anne Gros, Elodie Roy crafts powerful-yet-elegant Côte de Nuits-styled wines in the Maranges. Her En Builet is a silky expression, a touch buttery, heavily mineral, and fruit-forward. Aromatic, nuanced, and very capable of complimenting spicy food that you might otherwise worry would drown out more subtle Burgundian Chardonnay.

Eléonore Moreau is not only the only female winemaker in the tiny village of Poilly sur Serein, but the only winemaker period - all other producers instead sell their fruit to the Chablisienne.
