You can stop hunting now; this is the bottle you're looking for. Just trust me. I'm not even going to extrapolate further. Just check the tasting notes below; that should be enough, I think.
Natural colour, non chill-filtered, and bottled from a Hogshead at 44.1%.
700ml mlCurt's Tasting Note
Nose: Bubble gum. Fruit flan, heavy on strawberry and kiwi. Apricot, mango, and orange. Raspberry coulis and black pepper. A beautiful toasty barrel note. Wax and warm chamois leather. Sunflower oil. It's not shy, but it only hints at what the palate delivers...
Palate: Tropical, tropical, tropical. Notes of grapefruit, mango and passionfruit. Guava and pineapple. Firm clean oak behind it, which we'd expect at three decades (and a bit). Brilliant spice profile that takes a back seat to all of the fruits. A stunning, old school style of whisky we rarely see anymore. Did I mention tropical?
Finish: The finish is drying and leaves green grapes, almonds and very light echoes of malt. You won't want it to end.
