New Riff Distillery uses a High-Rye mash bill for their Bourbon recipe. It consists of 65% Corn, 30% Rye, and 5% Malted Barley. This Single Barrel Bourbon from New Riff is the second to hit Alberta. Barrel number 3340 was distilled in the spring of 2017 and bottled at 51.8%.

Nose: Butterscotch rounding into fresh oak, with hints of vanilla and rye spice.
Palate: Broad, fulsome mouthfeel, leading to a sweeter vanilla accent, before a gathering of rye spices (clove, cinnamon, mint, dark berry) into the finish.
Finish: Long, rye-led finish, with brambly red-black fruits amid white pepper and clove.

Evan Williams whiskey is named after Kentucky's first distiller, who began plying his trade in 1783. The Evan Williams Single Barrel may change slightly in style with every single barrel and each vintage, but it is always one of the quintessential American Whiskeys. It is made by Heaven Hill Distillers at their Bernheim Distillery in Louisville, KY and bottled at 43.3% ABV.
As of July 31st, 2024 - the current Vintage of Evan Williams Single Barrel is 2015.

Jim Beam distillery is in Clermont, Kentucky and is responsible for the creation of many different bottles including Jim Beam, Knobb Creek, Bakers, Booker’s, Basil Hayden, Old Grand-Dad and more. It is owned by Beam Suntory.
Jim Beam Single Barrel comes from specially selected casks that hail from the same stock that goes into Jim Beam White Label and Black Label. It is made from a mashbill of 77% Corn, 13% Rye, and 10% Malted Barley. Bottled at 47.5% ABV.

Koval Bourbon is a craft Bourbon made at their own distillery in Chicago, Illinois. The mashbill that Koval uses is one of the things that sets their Bourbon apart from others. It is a combination of 51% Corn and 49% Millet. Each bottling is from a single barrel and cut to 47% ABV. It is also certified Kosher as well as organic.

Confiscated refers to a fanciful story about a confiscated warehouse of whiskey barrels during prohibition, yadda yadda yadda. Kentucky Owl is a revived brand with roots that go back to its founding in 1879. It was recently relaunched in 2014 with whiskey from an undisclosed source in Kentucky. The brand itself is owned by the Stoli Group of Stolichnaya Vodka infamy. Bottled at 48.2%.
