Ola Dubh is Scots Gaelic for "Black Oil". The team at Harviestoun brewery has taken their Old Engine Oil and matured it in single malt whisky barrels from Highland Park, in this case a cask used for the 12 year. Soft and creamy with lots of roasted malt.

Ola Dubh (or "Black Oil") is a collaboration between Harviestoun Brewery and Highland Park. It is based on Harviestoun's award-winning Old Engine Oil. This deliciously rich, dark, 8% a.b.v. beer is the first ale to be aged in malt whisky casks from Highland Park distillery with traceable casks and numbered bottles. Pours an opaque black with a thickly laced beige head. Sweet malty smell. Delicious, perfectly balanced, with flavours of dark chocolate, caramel and smokey wood cask flavour.
