Canella Winery was founded in 1947 by Luciano Canella in San Donà di Piave. Canella Winery was the first to set up a state-of-the-art winery specializing in Prosecco. Since then the name Canella has becoming almost synonymous with Prosecco itself. Today, the winery is run by Luciano’s children, Alessandra, Lorenzo, Nicoletta, and Monica as well as his grandson, Tommaso, who is the first of the third generation to join the winery. They are among the very best wines produced in the region.
