Distilled in 1992, and filled into an Oloroso Sherry Butt, cask #336, the whisky was bottled after 28 years at 57.1%. Only 6 bottles are coming to KWM!
Producer Tasting Note
Nose: Stewed orange and plum with eucalyptus, leather, ripe apricot and golden fruit.
Taste: Black cherry cake, clove and raisin, with a lingering orange marmalade and a velvet toasted oak finish.

Not so much a classic, as it is an icon. When you're looking for big sherried malts, there's probabaly not many that should come before this one.

"Matured in a combination of the finest Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks for a minimum of 21 years and bottled at 48% ABV, the ‘Parliament’ continues the great GlenDronach tradition of offering fruit-laden intensity in its single malts. This rich expression has been named ‘Parliament’ after the colony, or ‘parliament’, of rooks that have been nesting in the trees that overlook the GlenDronach distillery for almost 200 years."
