Bottled as a part of GlenDronach Batch 18, this 12 year old was filled into a PX Sherry Puncheon (cask 8558), and bottled in 2020 at 59.4%. Only 6 bottles are coming to KWM. Limit 1 per customer!
Producer Tasting Note
Nose: Golden fruit marmalade and toffee nut brittle, with chestnut and cranberry infused with aniseed, clove and date oil.
Taste: Rich malt and raisin with honeyed treacle and blackberry syrup, with the lingering finish of fennel and liquorice root.

Not so much a classic, as it is an icon. When you're looking for big sherried malts, there's probabaly not many that should come before this one.

"Matured in a combination of the finest Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks for a minimum of 21 years and bottled at 48% ABV, the ‘Parliament’ continues the great GlenDronach tradition of offering fruit-laden intensity in its single malts. This rich expression has been named ‘Parliament’ after the colony, or ‘parliament’, of rooks that have been nesting in the trees that overlook the GlenDronach distillery for almost 200 years."
