Only 6 bottles are comung to KWM of this 11 year old GlenDronach, bottled as a part of Batch 18. Distilled in 2009 the whisky was filled into a PX Sherry Puncheon cask 2039, and bottled at 59.3% in 2020.
Producer Tasting Note
Nose: Blackcurrant and chocolate covered gooseberry with oak resin and larchwood.
Taste: Bramble preserve with blood orange, velvety oak tannin and lingering spiced plum sweetness.

Not so much a classic, as it is an icon. When you're looking for big sherried malts, there's probabaly not many that should come before this one.

"Matured in a combination of the finest Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks for a minimum of 21 years and bottled at 48% ABV, the ‘Parliament’ continues the great GlenDronach tradition of offering fruit-laden intensity in its single malts. This rich expression has been named ‘Parliament’ after the colony, or ‘parliament’, of rooks that have been nesting in the trees that overlook the GlenDronach distillery for almost 200 years."
