Filled into a PX Sherry Puncheon, cask $6049, in 1992, it was bottled in 2020 after 27 years at 50.9%. Only 6 bottles are coming to KWM.
Producer Tasting Note
Nose: Dark chocolate coated cherry and Victoria plum, with layers of toasted winter spice, angelica, walnut and mint.
Taste: A swathe of silk velvet carries cherry and plum dusted with cocoa, becoming earthy bramble vine and lingering white truffle.

Not so much a classic, as it is an icon. When you're looking for big sherried malts, there's probabaly not many that should come before this one.

"Matured in a combination of the finest Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks for a minimum of 21 years and bottled at 48% ABV, the ‘Parliament’ continues the great GlenDronach tradition of offering fruit-laden intensity in its single malts. This rich expression has been named ‘Parliament’ after the colony, or ‘parliament’, of rooks that have been nesting in the trees that overlook the GlenDronach distillery for almost 200 years."
