The Redemption lineup of Bourbon and Rye continue to impress us, and this Wheated Bourbon is no exception. In fact, it may be the best of what we have tasted from Redemption so far! Sourced from the powerhouse MGP Distillery of Indiana, this Wheater has a mash bill consisting of the bare minimum for Bourbon 51% Corn, a very high 45% Winter Wheat, and 4% Malted Barley. Bottled at 48%.

One of the most iconic bottles in the whiskey world. That red wax dipped neck has been the calling card of Maker's Mark - one of America's finest wheated bourbons. Maker's Mark is made from a mash bill of 60% Corn, 26% Red Winter Wheat, and 14% Malted Barley. It is aged between 7 to 9 years in heavily charred virgin oak before being bottled at 45%.

Maker's Mark is a mellow bourbon, made with wheat in place of rye with a mash bill of 60% Corn, 26% Red Winter Wheat, and 14% Malted Barley. To create the Maker's 46, the Bourbon has been finished in the same barrels as the regular but with new French oak staves inserted to add additional flavours of caramel, spice and vanilla. Firm, complex dry spices, herb, and some polished leather "grip", which dovetails well with Maker's trademark layered sweetness, Dried fruit and somewhat aggressive, but never excessive oak.
