Andrew's Tasting Note

Nose: Manuka honey, marcona almonds and linseed oil; very furity, floral, and a touch waxy; lemon and lime on the citrus side, along with melons, peaches and dried apricots; geraniums, sage and heather with peppery wood spices; delicate, bright and welcoming.

Palate: soft, silky and floral with bright-sweet-fruits; loads of citrus: lemon, lime and even orange; more melons and stone fruits; Manuka honey, bees wax and Marcona almonds; more flowers, herbs and spices: geraniums, sage and peppery oak spices.

Finish: fresh, fruity, waxy and floral; light but long with fading citrus, honey, geraniums and a touch of cool mint.

Comment: one of the most floral malts I've had in a while; it is bright, fruity, waxy and very enticing; it was a highlight for me in our recent Signatory tasting; a shame we have just 10 bottles left!
