Only 3 bottles have come to KWM, and regretably they sold before they even hit the floor. Distilled in April 1979, filled into a Refill Hogshead and botttled in October 2019 at 40 years and 51.2%. From the XOP "The Black" series.

Producer Tasting Note

Nose: Exceptionally herbal, fresh, littoral and pelagic.

Palate: Immediately mouth puckeringly salted, before warming spices and a certain dry oakiness appears ahead of the ash.

Finish: Long and spicy, cough drop style, with a hint of tar and a drift of smoke.
