Producer Tasting Note
Nose: The nose is sweet and creamy with a touch of intense citrus fruit, adding a burst of freshness to the aroma. notes of zesty lemon peel are complemented by rich vanilla cream, subtle hints of tobacco, and a light woody undertone.
Palate: On the palate, the whiskey is smooth and creamy with big spice and mocha notes. the creamy vanilla flavours are enhanced by warm cinnamon and oak spice, which add a pleasant depth and complexity. the mocha notes come through, providing a subtle bitterness that balances the sweetness of the fruit flavours.
Finish: The finish is long and satisfying, with honeyed fresh fruit flavours dominating the palate. The taste of fresh melon and milk chocolate digestives come through, followed by a subtle lingering spice that adds a gentle warmth to the aftertaste.

About Powers Whiskey
Powers Distillery was founded new Dublin's Wester Gate in 1791 on John's Lane. In 1841 Sir John Power was made a Baron. In 1871 the distillery went through an enormous expansion. In 1886 the distillery became the first in Dublin to bottle its whiskey. In 1975 the distillery, owned by Irish Distillers, is closed down with production shifting to the New Middleton Distillery in Cork, along with all other Irish whiskey brands save Bushmills.

About Colla Uais
"Irish legend tells the story of The Three Collas. Caireall Colla Uais, Muiredach Colla Fo Chrí and Aed Colla Menn, three brothers who conquered and ruled over most of Ireland, with Colla Uais becoming Ard Rí: The High King of Ireland in the 4th century. Irish history tells us there was a steadfast rule against the slaying of a sitting High King. If a person were to violate that rule, none of their descendants would ever accede to the Irish throne. But Colla Uais (pron. Oosh) and his daring warriors slew the sitting monarch and defeated his followers, thus becoming the High King of Ireland. And so our legend was born."
