This 35 year old Caol Ila was distilled in 1984, filled in to a Refill Hogshead and bottled at 48.6%. Only 9 bottles are coming to KWM! 90pts Whisky Base.

Producer Tasting Note

"The nose opens with a littoral, beachy, maritime, fresh character. The palate opens rather subtly, distinctly sweet and develops to a menthol cough drop style, showing also a peated backdrop amongst tar and chimney soot. The finish is spiced, ashy and coal dusted."
