Batch 004 of this Blended Malt from the Campbeltown region (Springbank, Glengyle & Glen Scotia), was distilled in April of 2014 and matured in hogseads for four years before being bottled at 57%. One of only 726 bottles bottled in May of 2018.

Nose: lemon citrus & cut grass. Oddfellows aromatic sweeties.
Palate: gingerbread & a leafy clementine.
Finish: super summer fruit with a touch of sea salt.

All around you can sense the ghosts of the long lost Distilleries that once proudly proclaimed Campbeltown “Scotland’s Whisky capital”. The Gauldrons takes you down the long and winding road, over moorland and through now abandoned villages, to one of the most isolated Whisky outposts in the world. All but surrounded by the ocean, the air here is heavy with sea mist and infused with the whim blossom that brightens the landscape."
