Distilled in 1989 and bottled in 2014 at 55.1% after 25 years in a Refill Hogshead. Long story where this came from, but good Whisky Base Score - 90.98pts, and the price isn't too shabby!

Producer Tasting Note

Nose: Gently maritime, oceanic & coastal + a drift of smoke & some light tar.

Palate: sweetly phenolic – showing soot, smoke & iodine amongst honey & fudge.

Finish: long, ashy & peated (sweetly) with a distinct barley sugar character.
