KWM looked at buying this cask, but we just couldn't make it work for us... I am really happy that Authentic brought it in though as a Canadian exclusive release! Distilled in 2000, back when Scapa had some very long fermentations, the whisky matured 24 years in a Refill Sherry Hogshead Cask (#1105) before bottling at 56.9%.

This 2016 vintage mystery Orkney single malt was matured entirely in ex-Bourbon for 6 years before bottling at 46%. Presumed to be Scapa based on the tasting note!
