Exclusive to KWM in Canada, a 19 year old Glen Keith distilled in 1996 and bottled at 51.6% from a Refill Hogshead cask. Only 237 bottles were produced and just 12 of them came to Canada.
Andrew's Tasting Note
Nose: Manuka honey, chocolate-orange marzipan, ginger, cinnamon and nutmeg; crisp biscuits, chewy malt and vanilla waffers; candied orange and carrot cake with cream cheese icing.
Palate: creamed cheese icing sugar on moist carrot cake with decadent but firm spices; more chocolate-orange marzipan, vanilla waffers, chewy malt and Manuka honey; wine gums and grape Hubba Bubba.
Finish: more grapey fruits, wine gums and carrot cake with cream cheese icing.
Comment: very elegant, fruity and layered; beautiful and balanced.
