This Bottled-In-Bond 100° expression of Rittenhouse is produced in the tradition of the classic rye whiskies that were once the preeminent American whisky style, kept alive through the lean years by Heaven Hill and two other distilleries. The Rye brand takes its name from Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and hearkens back to that states long-lost but once highly regarded "Monongahela" rye whiskies. ​

Heaven Hill Distillers produces this four-year-old Bonded Rittenhouse Rye at their Bernheim Distillery in Louisville, KY.

Sazerac Rye

This whiskey is produced at the scenic Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky. This is not a single barrel but a small batch from the mixing of a very small group of barrels. The design of the bottle is reminiscent of pre Civil War days when barrels of whisky were poured into ornately engraved decanters supplied by the distiller. While the label is now silkscreened the shape is reminiscent of the style. This rye will change anyone's mind about rye whiskey for the better!

Distiller's Tasting Note: "Aromas of clove, vanilla, anise and pepper. Subtle notes of candies spices and citrus. The big finish is smooth with hints of licorice."

Knob Creek Cask Strength Rye

Like Knob Creek Bourbon, the Knob Creek Rye is distilled at Jim Beam distillery which is located in Clermont, Kentucky. As a Kentucky Straight Rye, the mash bill has to consist of at least 51% Rye grain and be primarily aged in Virgin Oak barrels for at least four years, unless a lesser age is stated on the bottle. Bottled at 59.8%.
