It is back, in limited quantities! High West A Midwinter Night's Dram takes is a spin on the company's own Rendevous Rye, finished in Port Barrels and bottled at a higher 49.3% ABV.
Like the Rendezvous Rye itself, Midwinter is a blend of two different Rye Mashbills:

Producer's Tasting Note
Nose: Cinnamon rhubarb and plum pie, Orange Jaffa cake, star anise, cedar box, toasted pecan with dates
Palate: Black cherry reduction, molasses, birch root, fig jam, and ginger bread
Finish: Spiced clove and blackberries, candied ginger, wooden spice box, orange peel

High West's Double Rye! is the earthier, spicier kin of their Rendezvous Rye. It is a blend of two Straight Rye Whiskies aged between three and seven years. The younger component is everybody's favourite 95% Rye mashbill from MGP in Indiana. The older Rye is High West's own 80% Rye, 20% Malted Rye mashbill. Both of these whiskies are matured in the pre-requisite charred virgin barrels made of American White Oak. Bottled at 46% ABV.

This blend of Straight Bourbon and Straight Rye whiskey - all matured between 6 and 10 years in new oak - was further tweaked by 7 months of finishing in casks that previously held Petit Sirah red wine. The result is bottled at 50% ABV.
