Only 6 bottles are coming to KWM of this 1996 Bowmore single cask. Filled into a Refill Hogshead, Douglas Laing Reference 10454, it was bottled in 2014 after 18 years at an impressive 60.1%. 

Producer Tasting Note

Nose: opens with herbal cough drops & peated malt + toffee & a charred oak quality.

Palate: initially sweet then oily, running to salty liquoricce - soft leather & tar.

Finish: long - with burnt caramel - now sweet liquorice + a hot smoked meat style.
