Made right here in Calgary, Alberta, this 100% Rye is priced like a bar rail whisky but is also quite a good whisky. It is a good introduction to what Alberta Distillers is capable of. 40%.

This is the older sibling to Tom Bulleit's signature Bourbon. Bottled at 45.6% ABV.
The Mashbill for Bulleit is 68% Corn, 28% Rye and 4% Malted Barley.
From 1997 until 2012, much of the Bourbon in Bulleit was originally distilled at Four Roses, which makes it likely that this still contains a good amount of Four Roses juice.
The Bulleit Distillery officially opened on March 14th, 2017 near Shelbyville, Kentucky.

Redwood Empire's Emerald Giant Rye is bottled in California but given it's Mash Bill of 95% Rye and 5% Malted barley it is likely sourced from MGP's Distillery in Indiana. This is not a bad thing as this distillery is responsible for some of the best Rye Whiskey around. This bottle takes its name from a Redwood tree that goes by the same moniker. The tree is 359 feet tall and about 1180 years old. The Whiskey is a blend of 3-5 year old Rye Whiskey bottled at 45%.
Based in Sonoma County, Redwood Empire Whiskey was established in 1998. The company has made a bit of a name for itself with its finesse at blending whiskey from different sources. Redwood maintains a promise to plant a tree for every bottle of their Whiskey sold.
