Grapes are sold to Sandeman and others. In 1988 Tim Bergquist, together with his daughter, Sophia, relaunches Quinta de la Rosa. La Rosa starts making port under its own label again and soon after is one of the first quintas to produce dry wine.
750 mlA blend of tinta roriz, touriga franca, and touriga nacional. Fermented in stainless-steel vats before maturing for 12 months in used French oak casks. Great structure will also ensure that the wine will age well in bottle for many years to come. This medium bodied wine is seductive thanks to its nuanced complexity offering woodland fruits, plums, and light herbaceous notes on the nose. Vibrant with smooth young tannins
