The heat of the Indian tropics took its toll of the two barrels used to create the Double Cask. Of the combined 360L filled into the two barrels, but 159L remained at the time of bottling, a loss of 59%, and the strenght of the alchohol went from 62.5% to a whopping 69.8%. Only a total of 306 bottles of this whisky have been produced at a cask strength of 46%, with but 48 coming to Canada. KWM exclusive.

This rare special bottling of Amrut is from the two oldest casks ever bottled by the distillery, at just over 7 years of age. Only 48 bottles are available in Canada, and they are exclusive to KWM.
