The 75 Wine Co is family owned and operated by Tuck & Boo Beckstoffer. Tuck's father, Andy, is one of the most well-known growers in California, establishing Beckstoffer Vineyards after moving to California in the 1960s. Today, the Beckstoffer family is one of Napa Valley's largest independent family grower and provides quality, sought-after grapes for a number of premium California wineries. The family established themselves in Napa Valley in 1975 when Tuck was a kid. The 75 Wine Co is a tribute to that personal event and all the great things that happened in the USA in 1975. Warm days and cool nights in this single vineyard in Mendocino County offer a long growing season allowing the natural flavours in Cabernet Sauvignon to really shine. Aromas of violets and cedar enhance the flavours of fresh raspberries, crushed cherry, blueberry and vanilla. This is a wine that is robust enough to stand up to strong food pairings like grilled steak, portobello mushrooms, strong cheeses or even rich chocolate. However, the tannins are soft enough on the palate to enjoy on its own in front of the fireplace on a cold winter night, or a fire pit on a cool summer evening.

The wine is a deep ruby colour with an intense, complex aroma of mineral, dark fruit and bell pepper. On the palate the wine has great structure, noticeable tannin and a long finish. Truchard Vineyards is a small, family-owned winery in the Carneros region which is at one end of California's famous Cabernet country, the Napa Valley. Tony and Jo Ann Truchard have been growing grapes for more than 30 years here. Their Cabernet is a big wine, with tremendous color and structure. Cabernet Franc is blended in to provide added softness and complexity. A Cabernet like this one deserves steak!

This is Cape Barren's classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. It's a wine that is familiar, but also one that shows more character than your average Cab/Merlot blend. The 3 varieties have integrated beautifully to provide a smooth and fleshy mouthfeel, displaying blackberry and mint, enhanced by nuances of plum, herbal notes and well-integrated oak. The finish is smooth and long, with firm but soft tannins ensuring a truly satisfying experience. This is a great wine to pair with pot roast, cottage pie, beef stew, lamb shanks and grilled pork.
