Pronounced "che-Vek," (which means "the little lady" and, conveniently, " a wee dram," in Gaelic!), this award-winning whisky is made of malts from Islay, Island, Highland and Speyside aged 8 to 11 years. It's smooth and slightly creamy, with a hint of licorice and a light peaty note on the palate. Unchillfiltered whisky will often turn cloudy when stored in a cool room, but chill filtering removes miniscule particles that many aficionados think actually contribute to the whisky's flavours.
