Nose: the 60% punches you in the nose at first, but it softens to dusty malt, almost corn-whisky like oils and vanilla extract; Palate: bigger mouthfeel than I expected and some sweet and bitter oak, with crisp vanila, notes of kirsch and fresh cut maple; Finish: long drying and sweet with more crisp toasted oak.
