Exclusive, to the Kensington Wine Market, this single cask bottling of Port Ellen was matured in a Refill Sherry Butt for 25 years and bottled at a cask strength of 57%. Only 417 numbered bottles, 60 in Canada (Less than 12 left!). This is an enormous Port Ellen, with an Ardbegian finish!

Port Ellen distillery closed in 1983, and since then has become a cult distillery. It's whisky is steadily getting older, rare and correspondingly more expensive. Distilled on November 11th 1982, it was bottled on the 20th of December 2007. Only 417 bottles have been produced from Refill Sherry Butt Cask No. 2847, of which only 60 have made it to Canada. The whisky was bottled at a cask strength of 57%. Tasting note and picture to follow!
