Forty Creek Small Batch Reserve is blended from a limited number of barrels that have been set-aside over the past 15 years due to their exceptional quality & taste profile. Some of these barrels were rye, some corn & some malted barley. The age of barrels ranges from 15 years to 6 years old. One thing they have in common – they were so outstanding that John chose to save them for something special. "Rich amber colour. Sweet toffee, nuts, and spice aromas. A supple yet vibrant entry leads to a dry, yet fruity medium body of caramelized nuts & cereal, and rich brown spice flavours. Finishes with a long sweet toffee and spice fade with nice layers of nuttiness. Well done!"
