Arguably the most exotic white wine in the d’Arenberg stable, the complexity you'll find in the Money Spider Roussanne is purely a result of fruit expression, as this wine spends no time in oak. The palate is robust! A luscious mix of pulpy fruit, green mango and papaya. These full flavours gently give way to honey blossom nuances and savoury pistachio notes which linger to a very long finish, adding refinement to the palate. Certified Organic.
This will pair particularly well with antipasto plates, fatty fish and white meat dishes.

This white blend from Rhone is composed of 60% Grenache and 20% of both Clairette and Roussane. It comes from vineyards owned by Domain Ussegglio that are both certified organic and biodynamic.
The Usseglio family initially emigrated to Châteauneuf de Pape from Italy. Brothers Pierre and Raymond began the dynasty that we know today as one of the most revered producers in the region. For 6 generations, the Jaboulet family has been producing wines in the Côtes-Du-Rhone. After nearly 30 years on the Paul Jaboulet Aine estate, where Philippe Jaboulet ran the family's vineyards, he and his son Vincent decided to leave the company to establish their own family estate, Domaine Philippe & Vincent Jaboulet. Located in the northern Rhone Valley, about one mile south of Tain l'Hermitage, the domain was founded in 2006. Philippe and Vincent retained about 13 hectares of family vineyards, including, first of all, the site "Talaber", which was renamed "Nouvelaire", which means "new era".

This wine is named "The Custodian" because of d'Arry Osborn's stubborn resistance at keeping vineyards planted with Grenache in the 1980s when the grape wasn't very popular, That move has since paid off as producer D'Arenberg now has just about 1/3rd of all old bush vine Grenache plantings left in the McLaren Vale and those vines are responsible for this wine which showcases plenty of character, bright acidity and plenty of fruit balanced by silky tannins.
