Why call a cab when you can have a Cab Franc. Okay, we're fooling around with a play on words here because this Canadian red is worth a ride. It's a little lighter than a Cabernet Sauvignon but with just as much finesse. Medium-bodied and smooth with raspberry aromas and flavors of sweet roasted bell pepper and a hint of smokiness. Nice oak and a long, long finish. Great with roast lamb.
