This organic Malbec comes from Patagonia, one of the world's southernmost wine regions and just 1,400 miles north of Antarctica! Aside from being organic, it's very affordable and very, very cheerful. Rich, smoky aromas, ripe black cherries and dark earth with an abundance of spice. Lots of dark fruit, cocoa and prune flavors. Smooth and hearty with a mouthwatering spicy finish. Good value!

Made in a racy, elegant style, the Familia is sourced from two Mendoza vineyards, one 56 years and the other 66 years of age. Inky purple, it offers an expressive perfume of cedar, tobacco, violets, lilacs, black cherry, and blackberry, which leaps from the glass. This is followed by a spicy, full-flavoured, layered, structured wine with 6-8 years of aging potential, excellent balance, and a lengthy, pure finish. It's a blend of 85% Malbec, plus some Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Bonarda and Cabernet Sauvignon
