From the original 1994 plantings on our home vineyard in Okanagan Falls, the Gewürztraminer block has a westerly aspect and is cool in the morning, capturing the heat in the late afternoon, allowing us to craft a beautifully aromatic, food-friendly Gewürztraminer. It is fresh and bright displaying notes of honeysuckle, floral and lemon peel. It is lean with a soft mouth feel and a touch of ginger on the finish. It's dry (5 g/L of residual sugar) making it the perfect patio sipper or complement to lighter dishes like salad rolls, sushi or Thai salad.
