Bottled to mark King Car Group's 45th Anniversary, this Kavalan was fully matured in a Palo Cortado sherry cask before bottling at 54% in a magnum decanter.
Producer Description
"To celebrate an extraordinary milestone, Kavalan presents the 45th Anniversary Release — a whisky that captures the pinnacle of rarity, craftsmanship, and sherry cask mastery.
"Matured exclusively in an exceptional Palo Cortado sherry cask sourced from Spain’s legendary Sherry Triangle, this release embodies both mystery and elegance. Palo Cortado is among the rarest sherry styles, celebrated for its unique dual aging process — beginning with biological aging, then transitioning into oxidative aging. This intricate evolution gives the whisky an extraordinary depth and balance."

This special edition of Kavalan Triple Sherry was bottled for the Year of the Horse, and comes with a Kavalan copita glass. 40%
Producer Description
"Kavalan Triple Sherry Cask Single Malt Whisky is a rare combination of three exquisite sherry-aged casks — Oloroso, Pedro Ximénez, and Moscatel — with the dried fruits of Oloroso as its main character. Rich caramel and the sweetness of maltose are layered with the distillery's unique tropical fruits to create a delicate but distinct sherried whisky that can be enjoyed on easy-drinking occasions with friends."

Producer Description
"Distilled from premium peated malt and matured in the finest Oloroso sherry casks from Spain’s Sherry Triangle, this whisky melds rich dried fruit notes with Kavalan’s signature tropical vibrancy, offering a lightly smoky yet profoundly complex flavour and non-chill filtered to preserve its pure, unrestrained character."
